Philippe Salle will take over the role of CEO at Atos from Jean-Pierre Mustier as of Feb. 1. Mustier had only been at the helm of the company since July.

The puzzle at Atos management seems difficult to put together. Once again a new CEO is being appointed. This time it is about Philippe Salle who will take over as CEO from Jean-Pierre Mustier. Salle will combine this role with that of chairman of the board of directors.

New CEO

Atos has been in difficult waters for some time. The IT services provider has been looking for an acquirer but so far has not been able to get a deal done. Despite these difficult times, Atos is making a change in senior management. Philippe Salle will assume the role of CEO as of Feb. 1, 2025, as well as the position of chairman of the board of directors.

“I am aware of the challenges ahead, but also of the Group’s strengths, from the quality of its services to the ongoing commitment of its employees, which will allow us to open a new chapter in the Group’s history together,” Salle said.

In doing so, he replaces Jean-Pierre Mustier, who has only been at the helm since July. He will serve as CEO until Jan. 31, 2025, and will remain a member of the board of directors “to ensure an orderly, constructive and effective transition.
