ASML closes 2025 with 32.7 billion euros in revenue and expects further growth in 2026, mainly due to higher EUV sales.
The Dutch chip machine maker ASML has had a record year with a total net turnover of 32.7 billion euros in 2025. The company seems to want to continue this trend in 2026, with an expected net turnover of between 34 and 29 billion euros.
In July last year, the company expressed uncertainty about growth in 2026. In particular, the macroeconomic and geopolitical changes would play a role. That uncertainty seems to be off the table. The company expects further growth in 2026 due to higher EUV (lithography) sales.
Record year 2025
“ASML again reported a record year in 2025, with total net sales of 32.7 billion euros and a gross margin of 52.8 percent. The fourth quarter was particularly strong: we reported record total net sales of 9.7 billion euros, including sales recognized for two High NA systems. Our Q4 gross margin was in line with our forecast of 52.2 percent,” said Christophe Fouquet, CEO of ASML.

More growth in 2026 after all
Despite the uncertainties expressed last year, ASML is still looking positively towards 2026. “We expect total net sales of between 8.2 billion and 8.9 billion euros in the first quarter of 2026, with a gross margin of between 51 and 53 percent.”

ASML Expresses Uncertainty about Growth in 2026
According to Fouquet, several customers have a more positive view of the medium term. He links this to expectations regarding continued AI-related demand. ASML says that this is becoming visible in capacity plans and in a record inflow of orders. According to the company, growth in 2026 should mainly come from more EUV sales and growth in installed base revenue.
