Samsung Launches the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite: Tablet for Everyday Use

Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. It’s a tablet with a 10.9-inch TFT screen, Exynos 1380 processor, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. It’s meant to be an affordable device tailored for everyday use. According to Samsung, the new tablet offers powerful performance and an excellent display. This should make the device suitable for both productivity and entertainment.

TFT Screen

These claims somewhat contradict the specifications. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is equipped with a 10.9-inch TFT display with a resolution of 2,112 x 1,320 pixels. TFT panels are typically not as nice as IPS panels, which in turn are inferior to OLED. So take the claim about sharp images and vibrant colors with a grain of salt.

Under the hood is Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 processor. The tablet further features a modest 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with the option to expand storage up to 2 TB via a microSD card. On the back, the tablet has an 8 MP camera, while the 5 MP front camera supports video calling. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite’s battery has a capacity of 8,000 mAh.

Price and availability

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will be available in Belgium from the end of August 2025. The tablet comes in gray, silver, and red, with a recommended price of 399 euros for the model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. A version with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB also exists and costs 469 euros.

Samsung is primarily competing on price. 399 euros is affordable for an extra screen. The productivity claim is somewhat dubious, but those looking for a tablet for multimedia or possibly to review documents or check emails on the go can make use of this. The included stylus also makes such work a bit easier.

Samsung is also launching a Galaxy Tab Lite 5G for those who want connectivity on the go. That variant costs 459 euros and 529 euros respectively.
