Motorola launches Motorola Signature as the first device in a new product line in the higher segment.

Motorola has announced the Motorola Signature, the first device in a new Signature series. With this line, the company is targeting the higher segment. The Signature is 7mm thin and equipped with a 5200mAh battery. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Motorola also promises up to seven years of Android OS and security updates. These specifications come with a suggested retail price of 999 euros including VAT.

5200mAh battery

The Lenovo Signature is approximately 16.2×7.6 cm in size with a thickness of 7 mm, and features a 6.8 inch AMOLED screen. The device is armed with a 5200mAh battery that can be wired charged with 90W. Wireless charging, according to the brand, is possible at a maximum of 50W. The battery should last 1,200 charging cycles. For performance, Motorola refers to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, built on 3nm. The company also talks about a separate AI processing engine.

50MP cameras

In terms of hardware, Motorola is positioning the Motorola Signature as a thin device with a triple camera system on the rear, each with a 50MP sensor. The main camera uses a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor with 2.44 μm Ultra Pixel and an f/1.6 aperture. In addition, there is a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 12 mm focal length, 122° field of view, f/2.0 and autofocus, which also supports macro shots. For zoom, Motorola provides a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
