At CES 2022, a lot of big IT names are unwrapping announcements of new products. Anker joins that list. The brand announced the B600 Video Bar. The device combines speakers, light and a webcam in one housing.
The fixed desk space in the office has already given way to a hybrid workplace at many companies. Therefore, employees also need suitable equipment such as a laptop and a monitor to work at home.
There is bound to be a camera on this laptop, although its quality usually leaves much to be desired. The lighting is not good, your image is blurry or your laptop has to be placed at an odd angle to get a nice picture.
Coming in sharp
Anker is thinking with you, announcing the B600 Video Bar at CES 2022 to do away with these problems. Built into the B600 Video Bar is a 2K sensor capable of capturing 30 frames per second. Combined with a zoom function and image enhancement, based on AI, you will always be in focus.
In addition to the webcam, the device also includes a microphone and speakers. The microphone ensures that your conversation partner can hear you clearly due to an AI algorithm that suppresses ambient noise.
More than a webcam
The B600 Video Bar didn’t just get labeled a webcam, the light bar and speakers take care of that. Low ambient light is solved by the light bar located just above the camera. Attached to the light bar, Anker has added the MagicSight function, which will automatically adjust the light according to conditions. As a user, you can further experiment with the light with the slider bar next to the camera and in an application.
You simply click the device onto your monitor or television and it will always be ready for your next video meeting. The B600 Video Bar will be available in Europe from January 25 at a price of 229.99 euros.
