The controversial Recall feature from Microsoft, which takes screenshots of everything you do on your PC, is now available in Europe.
Windows Recall docks in Europe. European users with an approved Microsoft Copilot+ PC can now enable the controversial feature. “In the EEA, Recall supports exporting snapshots to share with trusted third-party apps and websites,” according to Microsoft in a blog post.

European users with an approved Microsoft Copilot+ PC can now enable the Recall feature. Recall continuously takes screenshots of your PC, which are then analyzed by artificial intelligence. According to Microsoft, it’s a handy tool to go back in time and search for information, but according to privacy experts, it’s a nightmare.
Recall is not just available to anyone. To use the feature, you need an approved Copilot+ PC. This is because the feature uses local AI computing power and therefore requires a device with an NPU that has sufficient TOPS.

Additionally, Microsoft announces that Recall users worldwide can now reset Recall and delete all data. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Recall and snapshots. Then click the reset button to delete all your screenshots and restore Recall to default settings.
