Thinkwise is expanding into Belgium to modernize mission-critical legacy applications without having to change existing processes. With local partners and support from the Netherlands, the company aims to make Belgian organizations future-proof.
Thinkwise is expanding its operations from the Netherlands to the Belgian market. The Dutch software company focuses on modernizing legacy applications in mission-critical environments through automated conversion. With its AI-Upcycler platform, Thinkwise claims it can convert at least seventy percent of existing applications.
Instead of forcing organizations to switch to standard SaaS, Thinkwise preserves existing business logic and processes. This approach offers an alternative to traditional modernization projects and promises shorter, more predictable turnaround times because much of the conversion is automated.
AI-Upcycler
The Thinkwise platform converts legacy software into a modern application landscape. The transformation is largely automated using the AI-Upcycler. The Dutch company claims that at least seventy percent of existing modernized applications can be converted automatically right away. The remaining components are then specifically supplemented.
During this conversion, data, functionality, and business logic are preserved. The combination of automation and targeted support is designed to unburden organizations technologically without modifying their unique processes, which is crucial for mission-critical custom systems.
Local partners
In Belgium, Thinkwise focuses on sectors such as logistics, agri-food, leasing, retail, and wholesale. For implementation, the company collaborates with Belgian partners, while the Dutch team supports local customers. BeLux Sales Manager Henri Kympers says the company aims to build a strong market position in the coming years.
Co-founder and CVO Victor Klaren called Belgium a logical next step following growth in the Netherlands. He states that many organizations in Belgium operate similarly with custom software, and that Thinkwise therefore offers an alternative that preserves processes while replacing the underlying technology.
