Oracle Launches AI Data Platform for Enterprise-Wide AI Integration

oracle

Oracle announces the general availability of its new AI Data Platform. The platform aims to help companies make their data usable for generative AI and AI agents within their existing applications and workflows.

Oracle AI Data Platform enables organizations to prepare their data for AI use through automatic ingestion, semantic enrichment, and vector indexing. The platform supports building and deploying AI applications and agents, with support for tools like Oracle Autonomous AI Database and OCI Generative AI. Thanks to integration with Nvidia hardware, the platform also supports high-performance workloads.

Deployable AI

Users can combine data from various sources, from cloud to on-premises to edge, without ETL processes or data copies. The integrated Agent Hub enables control of AI agents that automate tasks, make recommendations, or execute workflows. Developers and data teams gain access to tools for building AI applications through a single environment, while business users can obtain insights through streamlined interfaces.

Multicloud

The platform is designed for multicloud and hybrid environments and integrates with Oracle applications like Fusion and NetSuite, as well as third-party environments. Oracle also plans to offer industry-specific versions of the platform, including for healthcare, financial services, and construction. This includes automatic availability of AI-ready datasets from Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence.

Oracle AI Data Platform supports open standards such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, Agent2Agent, and Model Context Protocol. These standards enable interoperability between various AI agents and systems. Through the data lakehouse model, users can manage datasets without duplication and with centralized governance.

Partner Investments

Consulting firms like Accenture, Cognizant, KPMG, and PwC are investing more than $1.5 billion combined in the platform. They are developing industry-specific applications and training thousands of employees to support customers with adoption. According to these partners, the platform provides a solid foundation for secure, scalable, and manageable AI in complex IT environments.
