Google Labs is rolling out its no-code AI platform Opal to more than 160 countries.
Google writes in an announcement that Opal is available in more than 160 countries. Users can build mini-apps with AI without having to code. The tool was launched in 15 countries earlier this year and is enjoying great popularity.
Widespread Use
According to Google, more and more people are using Opal for complex processes. For example, users are building apps that automatically collect, analyze, and export research data to Google Sheets. Creating reports and automating repetitive tasks are also popular use cases.
Marketers are creating tools that transform a single product idea into blog posts, social media posts, and advertising scripts. Other Opal apps generate visuals or help writers develop stories with voice support.
From Idea to Prototype in Minutes
A notable trend is entrepreneurs using Opal to quickly build a product prototype. Popular examples include language trainers, travel planners, and quiz generators. “We’re excited to see what people have built so far,” writes Google Labs. “And this is just the beginning.”
Recently, Google Cloud also launched the Gemini Enterprise AI platform for businesses. Although business users can’t build apps with Gemini Enterprise, it’s also a no-code platform like Opal. Thanks to integration with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other applications, it’s meant to be a single platform for AI functionality. They can choose to build their own AI agent or opt for a pre-built agent.
Users can try out the platform themselves via opal.google.
