Gmail makes unsubscribing easier with new ‘Manage Subscriptions’ page

Google is rolling out a new feature in Gmail on Android that gives you an overview of all your email subscriptions, allowing you to easily unsubscribe.

We’ve all signed up for a newsletter at some point, only to regret it later. These emails often pile up quickly. Gmail has now introduced a faster way to unsubscribe from such email subscriptions. With the new ‘Manage Subscriptions’ page, you can unsubscribe from an email subscription in just a few clicks, as noticed by 9to5Google. The option hasn’t appeared in the web app of Gmail or in the iOS app yet, but it is available in the Gmail app on Android.

Manage Subscriptions

Google is starting to roll out a new feature for Gmail on Android, making it easier to manage your subscriptions. Users can already unsubscribe today via the ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of each individual email. With the new ‘Manage Subscriptions’ page, you get a convenient overview of all email addresses and can unsubscribe in just two clicks.

Users will see a notification appear in the Gmail app with more information about the new ‘Manage Subscriptions’ option. In this overview, you’ll see a list of all email addresses and names for your email subscriptions. You can even check how many emails have been sent ‘recently’. If you’d prefer not to receive emails from certain senders anymore, you can easily unsubscribe with a button on the right side of the page.

Currently, this feature is being rolled out to Gmail on Android. It’s not yet clear whether this option will also come to the web app of Gmail or the iOS app.
