Cognizant has launched AI Training Data Services. The new service aims to help companies develop, train, and implement AI models at the enterprise level more efficiently and quickly.

One of the biggest challenges in generative AI and AI agents is the lack of accurately annotated data at scale. Cognizant addresses this with an offering that combines data engineering with domain-specific knowledge.

The new service “AI Training Data Services” focuses on collecting, annotating, and managing multimodal data such as text, audio, images, and video. This should lead to faster AI model development, greater accuracy, and lower costs.

“Data Debt”

“Organizations are eager to implement AI, but many companies are held back by ‘data debt’: a persistent burden caused by fragmented, poor, or hard-to-access data, which hinders the development of effective AI models,” says Saurabh Gupta, President of Research Advisory Services at HFS Research.

To overcome these barriers, Cognizant combines its full range of capabilities, business services, IT expertise, technical excellence, and ecosystem partnerships into a streamlined solution.

Sector-specific Support

“The AI Training Data Services combine deep domain knowledge with advanced data engineering and training capabilities, providing a prime example of the ‘Services-as-Software’ approach to help companies bridge the data preparation gap and remain competitive in an AI-driven world,” says Gupta.

Recently, Cognizant launched its Neuro AI Accelerator, which later became open source. This allows developers, researchers, and companies to experiment with scalable AI agent networks for various applications.
