Okta and Palo Alto Networks are collaborating to combat identity attacks by integrating their security platforms. AI is the best defense against AI.
Okta and Palo Alto Networks are joining forces to help businesses better protect themselves against identity attacks. The new integration between Okta Workforce Identity and Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access Browser ensures that employees only access their apps through a secure browser. This increases security, especially when using personal devices for work purposes.
Additionally, Okta AI is combined with Palo Alto Networks’ Cortex platform. This provides businesses with a clear overview of all identity risks and enables rapid action. Thanks to the integration of Cortex XSIAM and XDR, organizations can automatically detect suspicious activities and respond immediately, such as stopping sessions or quarantining devices.
The collaboration makes it easier for businesses to manage their security without additional complexity or costs. Employees can work safely on their own devices, while the IT department gains better insight into access attempts and activities taking place.
Fighting AI with AI
According to Stephen Lee, VP Technology Partnerships at Okta, AI is increasingly being used by hackers to crack passwords. “That’s why we must also deploy AI to stay ahead of them,” he says. The collaboration between Okta and Palo Alto Networks ensures that systems work together optimally, giving customers better visibility into suspicious activities and enabling smarter decisions about who gets access to their systems.
Pamela Cyr, VP Technical Partnerships at Palo Alto Networks, points to the importance of identity as a weak point in many businesses. The joint solutions provide secure access to apps and automatic protection against identity attacks through the Cortex platform, allowing businesses to protect their employees while keeping risks low.
