The UF-560 combines Unified Threat Management, machine learning, and sandboxing. Through SSL inspection, the device can analyze encrypted network traffic. The built-in Deep Packet Inspection engine (PACE2) recognizes complex threats such as APTs, classifies network traffic, and supports Data Loss Prevention up to Layer 7.

Cloud Component

Suspicious files are analyzed in a virtual, isolated environment. The cloud service used for this runs on servers in Germany. This ensures that processing remains within European data protection regulations.

Lancom also provides management functionalities via its own Lancom Management Cloud (LMC). Administrators can perform remote configurations, set up alerts, and centrally monitor the entire network. The firewall can be deployed in a high-availability cluster for maximum availability.

The Lancom UF-560 is available through certified partners. The firewall is part of the Lancom R&S Unified Firewall offering. The recommended retail price is 5,490 euros excluding VAT. Licenses are available with a term of one, three, or five years, depending on the chosen functionality. The standard three-year warranty can optionally be extended.
