Google will no longer support its ‘Dark Web Report’ from January 15, 2026. This tool allows users to scan their personal data on the dark web.

Google is discontinuing the Dark Web Report, a tool that allows users to scan the dark web for personal information. According to the company, people were unsure what to do with the results, and it wants to focus on clearer and more actionable tools. On January 15, 2026, scans for new data leaks on the dark web will be terminated. From February 16, the dark web tool will no longer be available.

“We are making this change to focus on tools that provide you with clearer, more actionable steps to protect your information online,” Google said in a blog post. The company does emphasize that it will continue to protect organizations from online threats.

Google scanned the dark web for sites or personal information such as email addresses and then created a report for users. The company also offered measures to better protect accounts.
