Qnap introduces the QSW-2104-2T-R2. That is an unmanaged switch with four 2.5GbE ports and two 10GbE ports. The device is intended for home networking and professional applications such as video editing and large file transfers.
Qnap is launching a switch with support for 2.5 GbE enb 10 GbE: the QSW-2104-2T-R2. The multi gigabit switch features six ports: four 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports and two 10 GbE RJ45 ports. The thing supports the NBASE-T standard for speeds of 10 G, 5 G, 2.5 G, 1 G and 100 M, and offers a maximum switch capacity of 60 Gbps. The device is a lighter version of a previously launched 10 GbE switch.

Qnap says the switch is designed for easy installation without complex configuration. The device supports Auto Negotiation, which means it automatically detects the optimal transmission rate based on the network device connected. Users can continue to use existing CAT 5e and CAT 6 cables to set up a network.
