Orange Belgium and Walloon telecom provider Voo have officially completed their integration. The migration will take place gradually and is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

In 2023, Orange Belgium received the green light from the European Commission to acquire the Walloon telecom provider Voo. With this acquisition, Orange obtained 75 percent of Voo’s shares. In 2024, Orange announced it would retire the Voo brand name, though it will remain visible as a product label for certain offerings. On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, the merger was officially completed. This makes Orange Belgium a fully fledged national player in the telecom market.

Voo is Disappearing

Voo is no more. On Wednesday, October 1, the Walloon telecom provider and Orange Belgium officially merged into a single entity. This means some changes for Voo customers. Voo will continue to exist as a name for certain products. This legal and organizational transition does not affect the VOO brand or its customers. Their subscriptions, services, and benefits remain unchanged.

Voo customers are being moved to Orange’s interface and Orange telecom products. The migration to Orange products will be implemented gradually and is planned to be completed in 2026. According to Orange, customers should barely notice the change.

Fiber

Orange NetCo, a direct subsidiary wholly owned by Orange Belgium, is now the owner and operator of the fixed access networks, which are open to external operators and can thus attract new partners. This step aligns with Orange Belgium’s long-term vision to build a modern, efficient, and future-proof network infrastructure that supports Belgium’s digital ambitions and the 2030 objectives of Europe’s Digital Decade.

In addition, this enables Orange Belgium to accelerate the fiber rollout, increase operational efficiency, and unlock new revenue through network monetization and strategic partnerships.
