Orange Belgium and Voo Will Officially Merge as of October 1

Orange Belgium and the Walloon telecom provider Voo will officially merge on Wednesday, October 1. The migration will be phased and is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

In 2023, Orange Belgium received the green light from the European Commission to acquire the Walloon telecom provider Voo. With this acquisition, Orange obtained 75 percent of Voo’s shares. In 2024, Orange announced it would retire the Voo brand name, though it will remain visible for certain products. Starting Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Orange will officially merge with Voo, Belga reports. This makes Orange Belgium officially a national player in the telecom market.

Voo is Disappearing

Voo is no more. Starting Wednesday, October 1, the Walloon telecom provider will merge with Orange Belgium. This means there will be some changes for Voo customers. The Voo name will continue to be used for certain products.

From October 1, Voo customers will be migrated to Orange’s interface and Orange telecom products. The transition to Orange products will be phased and is scheduled to be completed in 2026. According to Orange, customers should notice little change.
