Oracle Database@AWS is now generally available to customers in select AWS regions.

Oracle Database@AWS is now generally available in the AWS regions of Northern Virginia and Oregon. This gives customers the ability to run Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) within AWS. The service will be available in another 20 regions worldwide in the foreseeable future.

Oracle Database@AWS

Customers can now easily migrate their Oracle database workloads to Oracle Database@AWS, which runs on OCI infrastructure within AWS. The service is available in the AWS regions US East (Northern Virginia) and US West (Oregon). There are plans to expand Oracle Database@AWS to another 20 AWS regions, including Canada, Germany, India, and Japan.

Oracle Database@AWS offers companies the ability to seamlessly integrate Oracle database services such as Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database with AWS services. It supports the latest version of Oracle Database 23a, which offers AI Vector Search capabilities for improved data analysis and application development. The service also makes it possible to combine Oracle databases with AWS services for machine learning, advanced analytics, and generative AI.

Simple integration

Oracle Database@AWS offers customers built-in integration between Oracle database solutions and AWS Analytics services. This integration simplifies the data processing process, without customers having to build complex data pipelines. Oracle also offers customers tools such as Zero Downtime Migration for accelerated migration to the cloud.

In addition, the solution offers support for critical business applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite and PeopleSoft, and the user-friendly interface ensures easy database management via the AWS Management Console.
