Google has developed a new AI agent called CC that sends an overview of important information to your mailbox.

Google has introduced a new AI agent to help users organize their daily work. The tool, CC, bundles information from email, calendars, documents, and the web into a single overview.

Daily briefing via email

CC was developed within Google Labs and runs on Google’s Gemini models. Instead of introducing a separate app, Google is opting for email as the interface. Users receive a daily summary in their inbox called Your Day Ahead.

This briefing includes upcoming meetings, important emails, deadlines, and other time-sensitive information. CC combines data from Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive with relevant context from the web.

Interaction via replies

Users can respond directly to the email to communicate with the AI agent. Based on this, CC can draft emails, add meeting links, or suggest follow-up actions. The system gradually learns which information is most relevant to the user and adjusts its summaries accordingly. According to Google, CC is not intended to replace existing tools, but to function alongside them to make daily workflows more transparent.

Limited availability for now

The service is being launched as an experiment within Google Labs and is currently only available to users in the United States and Canada. Access is limited to holders of a Google AI Ultra subscription and a select group of paying users.
