With Fujitsu’s new AI tool, users can generate presentations in over 30 languages.
Fujitsu enables automatic generation and delivery of presentations using AI avatars in more than 30 languages. The new technology will be available as a Microsoft 365 Copilot AI agent.
AI Avatars Deliver Presentations and Answer Questions
Fujitsu developed the technology as part of the AI service Kozuchi. The tool automatically generates presentations using data from Microsoft PowerPoint and delivers them as well. During presentations, the AI avatar can answer questions from the audience. This is done through a retrieval-augmented generation process that retrieves relevant information from integrated sources.
The development was done in collaboration with Headwaters, a company that builds AI solutions. Fujitsu is making the technology available as “Fujitsu AI Auto Presentation” within Microsoft 365 Copilot. A test environment has already been opened on the Fujitsu Research Portal for professional users.
Users can create an AI avatar based on their own appearance and voice. This allows them to generate presentations without being present themselves. The technology supports more than 30 languages and works without requiring specialized knowledge. Fujitsu aims to make the tool available worldwide in the third quarter of 2025.
Integration with Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint
The AI Auto Presentation will be directly available in Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint. Users can customize presentations through prompts, voice recognition, and a large language model. The writing style and content per slide are also customizable.
The tool can automatically switch slides at the right moment with a preset time schedule. This is intended to reduce preparation time and accelerate information sharing within and outside organizations.
Fujitsu sees the new technology as a way to make presentations more accessible. According to the company, organizations can more easily share information, regardless of language proficiency or presentation skills.
