Modernization and Cloud Migration

Under this agreement, the Proximus Group will utilize AWS services to accelerate its digital transformation. The company focuses on standardizing data ecosystems within its core products Connect, Engage, and Protect. This should improve data accessibility and analysis, in compliance with current regulations.

Additionally, Proximus is focusing on modernizing digital identity and Communication Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS). By implementing AI and machine learning, the company aims to improve the scalability and cost-efficiency of these services. The transition to a hybrid cloud network is also part of the plans. This should reduce costs, increase efficiency, and support international expansion.

Generative AI

Proximus is experimenting with Amazon Bedrock, a managed service providing access to foundation models from companies such as AI21 Labs, Meta, and Mistral AI. With this, Proximus developed the Roubot chatbot, which aims to make customer interactions more efficient by providing more accurate and verified responses.

Additionally, Proximus has joined the AWS ISV Accelerate Program and is expanding its software-as-a-service offering through the AWS Partner Network and AWS Marketplace.
