NTT Data and Mistral are starting a collaboration to develop private AI solutions for organizations with high demands regarding security and data privacy.
NTT Data joins forces with the French AI company Mistral. The collaboration focuses on jointly developing secure and sustainable AI solutions for organizations in highly regulated sectors, such as financial institutions and governments. The solutions are designed to run in private cloud environments and cover both infrastructure and business processes.

Mistral provides generative AI models that will be integrated into NTT Data’s customer experience platforms. The first applications will appear in call centers in Europe and Asia, including agentic AI solutions and locally adapted language models. These models are tailored to sector-specific needs in each region.
Regional Strategies and Joint Development
Both companies will also develop joint commercial strategies. The services offered range from setting up AI applications to their implementation, management, and support. Special sales teams tailor the services to local needs.
NTT Data is further establishing a Center of Excellence around Mistral’s technology to jointly develop and implement new solutions. At the same time, Mistral is launching a training program for NTT Data employees, including certification. With this collaboration, NTT Data and Mistral aim to support companies that want to deploy AI technology without relying on public models or external platforms.
