Cinscia is buying UK-based Intuitive Systems & Networks (ISN). ISN provides secure network services and managed services in the UK. Conscia also already operates in the UK with consulting and services around cybersecurity, complex networks and hybrid cloud.
Until now, the company has mainly had a strong presence in the public sector. With the acquisition of ISN, Conscia aims to strengthen its position in the private sector. ISN offers managed services, software-defined networking solutions and cyber security, with a focus on medium and large enterprises.
Full integration
ISN’s team of 40 employees will be fully integrated into Conscia and will continue to work out of Wootton Bassett. This is done in conjunction with the existing Conscia teams in Oxford and Portsmouth. The merger increases the total number of employees in the UK organization to 130.
According to Erik Bertman, CEO of Conscia Group, the acquisition enhances both companies’ managed services capabilities and cyber security solutions. Richard Titheradge, CEO of ISN, also sees benefits in the partnership. He says the combination of ISN’s expertise with Conscia’s strong position in the public sector creates new opportunities for customers and employees. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
