Conscia Netherlands acquires Silta thus expands into the Belgian market.

Conscia Netherlands has acquired Antwerp-based Silta. This makes the company’s entry into the Belgian market and establishes a Benelux organization. Silta will continue under the name Conscia Belgium.

Focus on networking, cloud and security

With the acquisition, Conscia aims to strengthen its presence in the Benelux region. Silta, which specializes in network infrastructure, cloud technology and managed security services, fits well within this plan, according to Conscia. The Belgian company is a partner of Cisco, Microsoft, Dell EMC and Veeam. For customers, little will change: Silta will retain its employees and management, and continue to provide the same services. At the same time, customers benefit from the expertise within the entire Conscia Group.

The acquisition is a strategic move, said Marcel Cappetti, general manager of Conscia Netherlands. He sees opportunities in the Belgian market, which is characterized by large players and a fragmented supply. According to Cappetti, the new organization combines clout with flexibility, which provides a strong competitive advantage.

Local approach with international support

Gunter Van de Cauter and Ronnie Dibbaut, respectively sales director and operations director at Silta, remain at the helm of Conscia Belgium. They are also joining the management team of the Benelux organization. Both emphasize that customers can expect the same personal approach and no-nonsense approach. At the same time, the cooperation with Conscia opens doors to international projects and further specialization for the employees.

With this acquisition, Conscia strengthens its position in the Benelux and expands its expertise and services to Belgian customers.
