Database specialist Caitlann Consulting continues as Axians

Axians

Caitlann Consulting has been operating under the Axians brand name since January 1, 2026. The name change is the final step in the integration within VINCI Energies Belgium.

Database specialist Caitlann Consulting will use the Axians brand name from January 1, 2026. The company has been part of VINCI Energies Belgium since the summer of 2024. With the rebranding, the group aims to complete the operational integration within Axians, the ICT brand of VINCI Energies. The legal entity will continue to exist, but the team will continue as business unit Axians BXL-South.

Caitlann Consulting provides database management and support, with a focus on managed services. The team consists of Oracle and MS SQL database engineers and, according to the company, manages more than 1,000 databases. Its customers are mainly located in the south of Belgium and are active in the healthcare and utilities sectors.

Supplementing the Axians range

Within Axians in Belgium, the database expertise fits into a broader ICT offering. Axians mentions audiovisual solutions, critical communication, business applications, information management, and hybrid cloud and cybersecurity as domains in which it is active. The integration allows the database team to work more closely with other expert teams within the organization.

Dirk Devoghel, Managing Director of Axians Belgium, states that the rebranding ensures a clearer positioning within the ICT offering. Wilfried Goossens, Business Unit General Manager of Axians BXL-South, says that customers retain the same experts and services, but that the team now operates under the Axians name within the VINCI Energies network.

Wallonia

Moreover, the rebranding also fits in with the plans to expand activities to Wallonia. The team will continue to work from Wauthier-Braine. The unit retains an autonomous position within Axians, in line with the decentralized structure of VINCI Energies. Axians expects that the demand for integrated ICT trajectories will increase, in which cloud, business applications and database management come together within a broader security approach.
