Anthropic has secured a new funding round of $13 billion. The Series F round values the AI company at $183 billion post-investment.
Anthropic announces that it has raised $13 billion in its latest funding round. The company is now worth $183 billion, which is triple its valuation from the previous funding round in May of this year. Iconiq led the funding round along with Fidelity Management Research Company and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Other investors such as BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, GIC, TPG, and Qatar Investment Authority also participated. With this investment, Anthropic aims to further develop its AI platform and accelerate international growth.
Capital Injection
The capital injection follows a period of strong growth. Since the launch of Claude in March 2023, the company’s revenues have increased rapidly. In early 2025, Anthropic reported an annual revenue run-rate of $1 billion. By August 2025, this figure rose to over $5 billion. The company now serves more than 300,000 business customers, with the number of large accounts growing nearly seven-fold over the past year.

Anthropic states that its AI platform is used for a wide range of business applications. The Claude API and sector-specific solutions are said to help companies integrate AI into existing workflows. For developers, Anthropic launched Claude Code in May 2025, which the company claims quickly gained traction and already generates $500 million in run-rate revenue.
Safety and Scalability
With the new investment, Anthropic aims to continue focusing on the safety and reliability of its AI models. The company conducts research into model alignment and interpretability and focuses on controllable AI systems. The funding is also intended to support further international expansion.
According to investor Iconiq, the Series F round reflects confidence in Anthropic’s strategy. The funds will be used to scale up the platform and continue meeting the growing demand from businesses and developers.
