Copilot Plus PCs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X chip or AMD Ryzen AI 300 on board have been available since June; Intel is now following suit. We list all the announced laptops for you.
Now that Microsoft has launched the officially named Copilot Plus PC in tandem with two new Surface devices, the fence is up. All other PC manufacturers announced their PCs at the same time, all with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon X chip on board.
During Computex, AMD made its presence felt. With the new Ryzen AI chips, AMD also officially stepped into the Copilot Plus era. Under the motto “what Qualcomm can do, we can do better,” AMD put the limit of its chips at 50 TOPS. Intel’s response was not soon forthcoming in this week’s IFA trade show, it finally launched the Core Ultra Series 2, Lunar Lake for its friends, resulting in a cartload of laptop announcements. Intel claims its chip can tap up to 120 TOPS, 48 TOPS of which can be directly attributed to the NPU.

MSI
Last but not least: MSI. The manufacturer does not seem to be hot on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X, but does jump right on board with AMD. During IFA, as for many of the aforementioned brands, a wave of Intel Core Ultra Series 2 models followed in the Prestige and Summit lines.
