SanDisk announces its latest USB-C flash drive that is so compact you’ll never need to remove it from your PC.

SanDisk has reportedly released the smallest USB-C flash drive offering up to 1 TB of storage. The drive is aimed at users who want to expand their storage capacity without adding extra bulk to their laptop, tablet, or other USB-C device. The SanDisk Extreme Fit is available in various versions up to 1 TB, for a price of 96.99 euros incl. VAT. VAT. The cheapest 64 GB version costs 11.99 euros incl. VAT. VAT.

Compact Design

The new SanDisk Extreme Fit USB-C drive is designed to remain discreetly connected to a device. Thanks to its small size, SanDisk states the drive is barely noticeable, even when permanently connected to a laptop or tablet. Despite its limited dimensions, the device still offers ample storage capacity of up to 1 TB.

The read speed is up to 400 MB/s for versions between 128 GB and 1 TB. This speed is possible thanks to support for the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard. This allows users to quickly transfer large files or create backups without long waiting times.

Management and Backup

SanDisk also offers access to the Memory Zone app with the USB drive, available for both Windows and macOS. This software helps organize, move, and back up files. Users can set up automatic backups to prevent data loss. The app also offers features to free up storage space or recover deleted files.

The SanDisk Extreme Fit USB-C drive is designed for those who quickly need extra storage in a compact form factor. The drive works with all USB-C-enabled devices, including laptops, tablets, and some smartphones.

It is available in various versions: 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. Prices range from 11.99 euros incl. VAT for 64 GB to 96.99 euros incl. VAT for 1 TB.
