Lenovo expands the ThinkCentre series with two new models and introduces its next-generation ThinkVision P-series monitors.
Lenovo announces a range of new products at CES 2025. The ThinkCentre range welcomes two new desktop solutions in different sizes and with various features. In addition, Lenovo is launching the new generation of ThinkVision P-series monitors designed for business users with screens up to 40 inches.
ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6
Lenovo is unpacking new desktops in the ThinkCentre lineup: ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 and ThinkCentre neo 50q QC. These desktop solutions are designed for a variety of business needs, according to Lenovo. Both desktops differ in form and function, but feature Lenovo AI Now.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 all-in-one (AIO) desktop is the larger of the two newcomers with a 27-inch QHD display and ultra-thin bezels. The desktop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor, optional discrete NPU and an optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU for intensive visual tasks. It is designed for industries that require high-performance computing in one streamlined device. Lenovo somewhat conspicuously does opt for a previous-generation GPU here, just as Nvidia has announced its RTX 50 series.

Furthermore, the M90a Pro Gen 6 includes features including Lenovo Focus Sound, an AI-driven directional sound system, and Human Presence Detection 2.0, which automatically locks the screen when users move away from the desk. It also offers Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, support for multiple 4K monitors and an integrated tilt and swivel camera with AI-powered noise reduction.
Comfort was also considered. The M90a Pro Gen 6 features an ergonomic stand, Eyesafe-certified technology for low blue light (though that has no scientifically proven use) and IP55 water and dust resistance. The ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6 will be available from Q2 with an expected starting price of $2,539.
ThinkCentre neo 50q QC
The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q QC is the second newest desktop in the ThinkCentre series. This desktop features a smaller, minimalist design. The chassis includes the Snapdragon X or Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processors and features NPU with 45 TOPS for AI processing. With this, Qualcomm is officially making its entry into the desktop market.

With the neo 50q QC, Lenovo is aiming at SME users looking for a desktop in a compact form. Thus, the device offers multiple USB ports, HDMI and DisplayPort options to easily connect your peripherals. The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50q QC will be available from February 2025, with an expected starting price of $849.
ThinkVision P Series
In addition, Lenovo is introducing its next generation of monitors. The ThinkVision P Series is a range of monitors designed for business users. The series includes models from 23.8 to 40 inches with color accuracy up to 98 percent DCI-P3 coverage. Furthermore, the screen has thin bezels.
Refresh rates range from 24 Hz to 120 Hz, and Lenovo’s AI Power Solution provides dynamic backlighting and pixel intensity. This, according to Lenovo, optimizes power consumption without compromising image quality.

Lenovo ThinkVision P34WD-40, ThinkVision P27QD-40, ThinkVision P27Q-40, ThinkVision P24QD-40 and ThinkVision P24Q-40 are expected from June 2025. The starting price (for a 24-inch monitor) starts at $349. For the 34-inch, the expected starting price is $899. The Lenovo ThinkVision P32UD-40 will be available from Q2 2025, with an expected starting price of $1,199.
