On the sidelines of MWC 2026, Lenovo announces a range of business devices, with a modular ThinkBook concept PC and the rugged ThinkTab X11 as the highlights.
Lenovo is unveiling several new devices at MWC 2026. As is MWC tradition, a striking concept steals the show. However, the manufacturer does not lose its focus on the business segment. De aankondigingen volgen op eerdere updates van het ThinkBook-portfolio die Lenovo op CES en Tech World liet zien.
ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept
The modular ThinkBook concept is a proof of concept designed to combine portability on the go with a large format during use. The base is a thin 14-inch system that allows for various configurations with a second display. That extra screen can be placed on top of the lid, next to the PC via an integrated kickstand, or in place of the keyboard for a dual-screen setup.

Depending on the configuration, Lenovo says the viewing area scales up to approximately 19 inches. Modular elements include a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, swappable display modules, and I/O ports such as USB Type-A, USB Type-C, and HDMI. Pogo pin connectors are intended to ensure power and data transfer between modules.
ThinkTab X11 and ThinkVision M16
With the ThinkTab X11, Lenovo is expanding the Think ecosystem with a rugged Android tablet for frontline and industrial environments such as logistics, construction, and energy. The tablet runs on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and is tested to MIL-STD-810H standards, with IP68 durability. The screen supports operation with gloves and wet touch.

With a view toward uninterrupted use, the ThinkTab X11 features a screwless removable battery and a battery-less mode for fixed or vehicle mounting. Two USB-C ports allow for simultaneous charging and peripherals, while front-facing NFC is intended for data capture and authentication. Additionally, Lenovo highlights enterprise management and security for large-scale deployment.
Finally, Lenovo is highlighting the ThinkVision M16, a lightweight portable extra screen that connects to the existing ThinkPad and ThinkBook ecosystem.
