HP is launching the EliteBoard G1a at CES 2026, an ultra-compact PC integrated into a keyboard and intended for flexible workplaces.
HP is launching the EliteBoard G1a, a desktop-like PC built into a keyboard, designed for easy movement between workplaces. According to HP, the form factor suits organizations where employees regularly switch spaces, teams, or screens. The device connects to external displays and focuses on use in shared or hybrid environments.
Computer in keyboard
At first glance, the HP EliteBoard G1a looks like a traditional keyboard. However, this new keyboard has a desktop-like PC built in. HP is positioning the EliteBoard G1a as a Copilot+ PC with an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor. The company mentions an NPU of more than 50 TOPS for local AI tasks.

The keyboard includes dual microphones and speakers, and weighs 750 grams according to HP. The concept is intended to allow for faster setup changes without having to carry a classic desktop tower or notebook.
In addition, the device supports HP Smart Sense and AMD Auto State Management to control performance and cooling. HP also provides an optional built-in battery, intended for temporary use without a fixed power supply.
Security
For security, HP refers to Wolf Security for Business. This should help reduce firmware attacks through hardware protection, among other things. HP links this to endpoint security and a physical, lockable cable to discourage theft. HP also reports that the device is registered as an EPEAT 2.0 Gold Registered Product.
