Solita has launched FunctionAI, a platform designed to help companies integrate generative AI safely and cost-effectively into their operations. The platform offers control over models, data, and infrastructure.
Solita, an AI company with offices in Leuven and Ghent, is launching FunctionAI. This platform is designed for organizations that want to deploy generative AI without compromising data protection or compliance. The platform supports models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, among others, and allows users to determine where models run and how sensitive data is processed. FunctionAI can run in the cloud, on its own infrastructure, or offline.
From Internal to External
Companies can customize their AI solutions via plug-ins and pre-built workflows. This speeds up the integration process and helps to keep costs under control. According to Solita, FunctionAI is suitable for a wide range of applications, including in sectors with high security requirements such as defense.

Solita and ISS test impact of generative AI on software development
FunctionAI was originally developed for internal use within Solita, specifically for projects in highly secured environments. After extensive testing by software developers and data engineers, Solita is now making the platform available to customers.
According to Solita, FunctionAI helps organizations to deploy generative AI in a targeted manner per function or task, without making drastic changes to existing working methods. The platform should allow companies to develop new AI services faster, while maintaining control over data and infrastructure.
FunctionAI will be available to Solita customers from October 2025.
