Microsoft Copilot Reappears in a Native Windows App with an Improved User Interface
Microsoft is rolling out a new update for Copilot on Windows to Windows Insiders. Almost a year after Microsoft launched a simple web app, a native version of its Copilot Windows app now follows. This new Copilot app has an improved user interface and can answer questions about your PC. Last week, the company also made its native Copilot app available for macOS.
Improved Interface
The new update of the Copilot app on Windows is now available for Windows Insiders. This native version has several improvements. The AI assistant is built on native XAML and offers a renewed interface, with a side panel where you can easily start a new conversation or view your conversation history.
Moreover, you can ask questions about your PC. For example, you can ask the chatbot the following: “How do I set up a Bluetooth headset on this device?” Copilot then provides information tailored to your current version of Windows.

To quickly access the Copilot app, you can use the Alt + Space shortcut, or the Copilot key for users with Copilot+ PC.
This new update (version 1.25023.101.0 and higher) is being rolled out to all Insider channels via the Microsoft Store. This will happen gradually, so not everyone will see the update immediately.
