Microsoft is working on a new AI agent for Windows 11 to assist users in the Settings menu, to find certain settings or even execute them.
Microsoft is introducing an AI agent in the Settings app in Windows 11 that helps users easily find and adjust settings. This new tool uses artificial intelligence to automate tasks and offer direct solutions to problems. Windows 11 users with a Snapdragon-powered Copilot+-pc will be the first to experience the feature, followed by devices with AMD and Intel processors.
AI in settings
Microsoft has introduced a new feature for Windows 11 users that works with the power of artificial intelligence. An AI agent will soon be available in the Settings app to help find and work with system settings. Users can describe their problem in their own words, such as “how do I control my PC with my voice” or “my mouse pointer is too small,” and the agent will recommend the right steps to solve this.
With the user’s permission, the agent can even perform actions to automatically adjust settings, which is a significant improvement in the user experience. This new feature will first be available for Windows Insiders on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+-PCs and will later also be available for devices with AMD and Intel processors.
