Google Tasks offers more options in Google Calendar

Google is improving the integration of Google Tasks into Google Calendar for Android users.

Google Tasks has been integrated with Google Calendar for some time, although that integration did not amount to much. It wasn’t much more than creating and displaying your tasks. Now Google is coming out with an improved integration, where you can view and manage your full-screen tasks via a single click. The user interface is very similar to the separate Google Tasks app. Version 2024.46.1 of Google Calendar is being widely rolled out on Android devices via the Play Store. It is not yet known if Google will bring this improved experience to iOS.

Google Tasks

Google is adding improvements to Google Tasks in Google Calendar. The Google Tasks icon will appear at the top of your Google Calendar app, next to the account icon. When you click it, you will see the full tasks window. From here you can view and manage all your tasks. This experience is similar to the separate Tasks app.

Within Google Tasks, you can then create and manage a new task, or add a list under which you bundle several tasks. Then, your completed tasks remain visible under “completed.”
