Schneider Electric and NVIDIA Strengthen Their Partnership to Develop Infrastructure for AI Data Centers.

Schneider Electric launches a series of new rack and pod solutions for AI data centers, developed in collaboration with Nvidia. The companies aim to respond more quickly to the growing demand for AI-ready infrastructure in Europe and beyond.

European AI plans

Schneider Electric and Nvidia join forces to develop infrastructure for AI factories. The collaboration focuses on power supply, liquid cooling, control systems, and high-density racks. This should lead to more efficient data centers that are ready for AI applications. The partnership aligns with the European Commission’s “AI Continent Action Plan” and the “InvestAI” initiative, which aims to stimulate 200 billion euros in AI investments in Europe.

The companies are supporting the ambition to realize at least thirteen AI factories and five large-scale AI gigafactories on the European continent. Schneider Electric and Nvidia have also developed joint reference designs for power management and liquid cooling, suitable for AI workloads.

Integration of Nvidia ecosystem

A key component of the collaboration is the launch of a new series of data center solutions under the EcoStruxure label. This includes a prefab modular pod architecture, aimed at accelerated deployment of AI data centers. Schneider Electric is also introducing a rack solution based on the Open Compute Project. This system supports the Nvidia GB200 NVL72 platform with modular MGX architecture.
