Oracle is expanding Oracle Fusion Cloud Sales with new AI agents and generative AI features. These tools should help sales teams work more efficiently and improve customer communications. Since the start of the AI hype, Oracle, like many other technology giants, has been strongly committed to integrating AI into its portfolio.
New AI features
The AI agents are part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX) and are available immediately. They use linked data from finance and supply chain systems to support sales teams with personalized customer interactions.
The new AI functionalities include:
- Customer communication agent: generates automated emails that can be customized by tone and call-to-action. This helps salespeople communicate with customers more efficiently.
- Customer records agent: keeps account information current by organizing call notes and automatically storing them in the system. This allows sales teams to work better together.
- Customer Information Assistant: provides a summary of account information, including recent activity, customer sentiment and contract status.
- Multilingual support: enables sales teams to automatically translate conversations with customers, making it easier to communicate internationally.
Oracle Cloud CX is part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite and includes several integrated applications for marketing, sales and customer service. The AI functions in this suite take on the role of assistant and advisor, according to Oracle. They analyze data from connected systems and support sales teams in their work.
