With the acquisition of Armis, ServiceNow aims to expand its cybersecurity and risk management offerings to IT, operational technology, and medical devices. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026.
ServiceNow has entered into an agreement to acquire Armis for approximately $7.75 billion in cash. With the acquisition, the company aims to broaden its security portfolio and give organizations better visibility into cyber risks across their entire technology environment, including IT systems, OT environments, and medical equipment.
Armis
Armis develops software for cyber exposure management and cyber-physical security. The platform maps connected assets, detects vulnerabilities, and helps prioritize risks. ServiceNow wants to integrate these capabilities into its existing security and risk management workflows. According to the companies, this will create a single platform that combines insight, decision-making, and action across the entire attack surface.
Cyber Risks
The acquisition fits into a broader context of increasing investments in information security. Organizations face an increasing number of connected systems and devices, partly due to the deployment of AI. This increases the attack surface and makes real-time insight into risks more important. ServiceNow expects Armis to contribute to faster detection and handling of vulnerabilities, including in environments where traditional security tools have less visibility.
